Hottie actor Clive Owen stars in a new film called The Boys Are Back and I was lucky enough to attend the premiere and have a chat with the Brit.
Clive plays a sportswriter who early in the film looses his wife to cancer and must take on the role of single dad in raising his 6 year old son. The film explores the father son relationship and the journey they must go on to grieve together while getting to know each other along the way. A deeply moving and beautiful film with a sentimental message.
Here is an exclusive interview with Clive Owen:
CQ: If you were a single dad, how do you think you would fare?
CO: I think I would be ok, I mean I have spent plenty of days with my
girls on my own, so I think I would be ok.
CQ: What did you like most about this film?
CO: It was very beautifully written and a very good story.
CQ: Did you bring anything to this film that we haven’t seen before?
CO: I don’t think so, no, it’s a different kind of film but parenting
is a very big part of my life, and it felt very natural to me.
CQ: Did you feel more prepared for this role because you have a wife
and kids of your own.
CO: Yeah I drew a lot from being a parent.
