As this fall's TV lineup is beginning to premiere, I have found myself completely drawn to The CW. Melrose Place was awful but I am so into The Vampire Diaries and I found myself loving The Beautiful Life....still not quite sure why. The Vampire Diaries features two really hot brothers, one good one evil, who return to a small town to fight over a beautiful girl. Although it bears A LOT of similarity to Twilight, it is a bit more risque, with sex and drugs being a focal point, and is really scary! The two brothers are also really hot, did I already mention that?
The Beautiful Life was cliche and predictable but I was thoroughly entertained and intrigued to see what would happen next. I will be tuning in next week to watch as Mischa Barton's character returns from a 6 month hiatus, addicted to pills, trying to save her career while secretly harboring a love child. I also liked that the kid from High School Musical is on a CW show about sex, drugs, fashion, and deceit, where did Disney go wrong?
